What makes it good

Ceramic, not PTFE

Free from PFOA, PFOS, lead and cadmium. The coating is a silica-based ceramic rather than a fluoropolymer.

Heavy base, even heat

Forged aluminium spreads heat instead of concentrating it under the burner, so you get one temperature across the pan rather than a hot ring.

Oven safe to 450°F

Start on the hob, finish under heat, same pan. The riveted handle stays cool on the hob but not in the oven — use a cloth.

Works on induction

And gas, electric, ceramic and halogen.

The detail

The pan that makes weeknight cooking feel easy. A forged aluminium body heats fast and evenly, and the ceramic nonstick surface releases eggs, fish and pancakes with nothing more than a wipe afterward.

Why you'll reach for it

  • Ceramic nonstick coating — free from PFOA, PFOS, lead and cadmium
  • 10-inch cooking surface with sloped sides for easy turning and pouring
  • Even heat from a heavy forged base that resists warping and hot spots
  • Oven safe to 450°F, with a stay-cool riveted handle
  • Induction compatible and safe for all other stovetops

In the box

One 10" ceramic nonstick fry pan and a felt pan protector.

Care

Hand wash with a soft sponge. Use low to medium heat — ceramic coatings last longest when they aren't overheated. Wooden, silicone or nylon utensils only.

Questions about this product

How long does the coating last?
Longer than you'd expect if you keep it under medium heat, and not long at all if you don't. Overheating is what kills ceramic — not scratches, not time.
Can I use metal utensils?
Don't. Wood, silicone or nylon. A metal edge will score the coating and once it's scored it starts releasing food.
Dishwasher?
It will survive, but it won't last as long. Hand wash with a soft sponge.
Why is my food starting to stick?
Almost always a thin layer of polymerised oil from cooking too hot. Simmer a little water with baking soda in it, wipe, and drop your heat next time.

Thirty days to change your mind

Unused and in its original packaging, within thirty days, for a refund. If it arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, we cover the return shipping and usually don't ask for it back at all.
