Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Good for Girlz is a trading name of Z.J ORGANIC FOODS LTD ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16811739. We operate this website and online store. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors to our website, customers who place orders, and subscribers to our marketing communications.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us

  • Order and account information — name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and order history.
  • Payment information — card or payment account details are collected and processed by our payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Communications — messages you send us by email, contact form, chat, or social media, including any information you choose to include.
  • Marketing preferences — the email address or phone number you provide when you subscribe, and your subscription status.
  • Reviews and submissions — any content you post, such as product reviews or photographs.

b. Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent, and links clicked.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — cookies, pixels, tags, and local storage used to keep your cart, remember preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. See Section 6.
  • Approximate location — derived from your IP address, used for currency, tax, shipping, and fraud screening.

c. Information from third parties

  • Our ecommerce platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, and fraud-prevention providers.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, where permitted by your settings and applicable law.
  • Social media platforms, if you interact with us there or use a social login.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Process, fulfill, ship, and confirm your orders, and handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.
  • Manage your account and, if you have bought one, your Keepers membership and its benefits. We do not retain payment details to charge you again — there is no recurring billing on this store.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your questions.
  • Screen orders for fraud, chargeback risk, and other prohibited activity.
  • Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notices, and tracking updates.
  • Send marketing communications where you have opted in, and measure how they perform.
  • Improve our website, products, merchandising, and customer experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and consumer-protection requirements, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described below:

  • Service providers — ecommerce hosting, payment processing, order fulfillment and warehousing, shipping carriers, email and SMS platforms, customer support tools, reviews platforms, and analytics providers, each acting on our instructions.
  • Advertising partners — we may share limited identifiers with advertising platforms to show and measure ads. Under some state privacy laws this counts as "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 7.
  • Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Card data is transmitted directly to those providers over an encrypted connection and is subject to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We receive only a token, the last four digits, the card brand, and the authorization result. Please review your payment provider's own privacy policy for how they handle your data.

5. Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here and to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations — typically at least seven years for transaction records. Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe and for a reasonable period afterward to honor your opt-out. You may request deletion as described in Section 7.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the cart, checkout, login, and security. These cannot be switched off.
  • Performance and analytics — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Functional — remember preferences such as currency, language, and recently viewed items.
  • Advertising — used to deliver and measure relevant ads on this site and elsewhere.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie preferences link on our site. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing where required by law.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Know and access — request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and a copy of it.
  • Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete — ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or keeping tax records.
  • Portability — receive your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing — including through a GPC signal.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
  • Appeal — if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. Residents of some states may also contact their state Attorney General.

California residents: the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, provides the rights above, including the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a limitation right.

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws: equivalent rights apply under your state's law.

Nevada residents: you may direct us not to sell certain covered information.

To exercise any right, email info@goodforgirlz.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity, usually by confirming details of a recent order or by sending a confirmation to the email address on file. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by a further 45 days where permitted, with notice to you. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.

8. Marketing Communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing message, or by contacting us. If you have opted into SMS, reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for help; message and data rates may apply. Transactional messages about your orders — confirmations, shipping notices, tracking — are not marketing and will continue while you have an active order.

9. Children's Privacy

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our services are not directed to them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and vetted processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.

11. International Visitors

We are established in the United Kingdom and sell to customers in the United States. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

12. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. Please review their policies before providing personal information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. We will post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date, and where changes are material we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
